Formerly Senior Marketing Manager at Chiltern Railways, I planned campaign strategy and implemented successful cross-channel campaigns to increase awareness and encourage trial, all achieving high ROI and growth against ambitious targets set. Working with creative agency Connect, I led the launch of Chiltern Railways' Mainline brand in the West Midlands and London. This work won a CIM Marketing Excellence Award. Previouisly I also led the marketing activity for Wrexham & Shropshire Railway, creating a high profile brand across the region.
Birmingham Young Professional of the Year is one of the largest events on the Birmingham professional services calendar, and back in 2013 I was an award finalist at the event. Since then I have been part of the event organisation team on a voluntary basis, primarily responsible for marketing the event, driving ticket sales and supporting social media activity. This show-stopping glamorous black tie dinner and awards attracts over 800 people from across the Birmingham area and was this year covered in the Birmingham Post.
For Massey Ferguson dealership, RVW Pugh Ltd., I planned and organised promotional and experiential activities at trade shows across the region, and delivered in-house events and seminars to defined market segments. I designed and copywrote a 24 page newsletter featuring customer stories and reviews, mained directly to 15,000 farmers across the territory. I was one of the first to introduce social media and digital channels as part of the marketing mix, and through an agressive marketing strategy sales and revenue increased to position RVW Pugh as one of the fastest growing dealerships in the UK.
I brokered deals with film companies including Warner Bros. and Lionsgate to form brand and promotional partnerships, and worked with the film studios to produce marketing strategies to leverage the popularity of the movie, building brand affinity and attract new audiences.
The partnership between Lego Movie and Chiltern Railways enabled both brands to engage with new audiences over the crucial summer holiday period, and made travelling by rail more appealing to the family market segment.
I work with small business clients to produce low cost but professional and modern websites that can be viewed across all devices, perfect for start-ups or businesses with small budgets but looking for a website that reflects their brand and proposition. Websites cost from just £250, with low annual fees of around £50 and a website management suite so clients are completely in control of their own site and content.

Following a 6-year career in the rail industry, I set up my own marketing consultancy firm in late 2014 (Seabright Associates Ltd), to deliver winning marketing, brand and customer experience strategy for rail franchise bidders. I have recently authored a compelling marketing strategy for one of the teams bidding for the Transpennine Express franchise, from initial situation analysis, bluepirint and business case development, stakeholder and supplier liaison, through to final bid writing and submission.
